Tue Nov 22, 2011
Oh how much I loved your dragons Anne. Your spirit will live forever in your books and the light you brought into SF will glow brightly forever.
Reese's python purse has PETA hissing
Wed Nov 2, 2011
First of all she said animal cruelty is part of building a sociopath. She didn't say that having stupid purse did that so get it right.
Hunter dies trying save man from wounded grizzly
Sat Sep 17, 2011
Yes but in the end the bear still pays the price too doesn't he? Once shot they couldn't just walk away but I'm not big on killing bears to begin with and of course they seemed to believe it was a black bear even though they had seen signs of a grizzly already.
Postal Service on verge of going broke, shutting down
Mon Sep 5, 2011
Easy to blame unions though obviously a no layoff clause is rather silly. I belong to a union because it is required. I worked over 30 years without being union but unfortunately enough people believed the union when it said they could get them big raises that they voted for a closed shop.
Skin recovery: 4 ways to reverse sun damage
Sun Sep 4, 2011
Okay now how about giving those of us not blessed with money something we can actually afford to help our skin. The advice above is great but who has that kind of money to pay out especially in today's economy. This looks like it was written for women who can spend $60-$70 for skin products.
Mexico president blasts US after casino massacre
Thu Aug 25, 2011
are living in a fantasy world if you think that Mexico is going to allow us to go in with the military and attack the cartels. We can't even follow a fleeing felon over the border. Mexico needs to handle its problem.
Rattlesnake bites man who saved it from traffic
Fri Jun 17, 2011
That is true they aren't endangered but I would guess that he knew he might get bit. He did something good, that is if he actually got it out of traffic, and unfortunately he was hurt doing it. The snake made no promises so the analogy doesn't fit.
Postal Service to cut 7,500 jobs, close offices
Thu Mar 24, 2011
I have to agree I think the postal service does a much better job getting packages to citizens than UPS or Fed Ex. The latter has a bad habit of simply dumping the package on your doorstep and in many areas that means it isn't going to be there when you get home.
Mayor slams union over St. Patrick's day photo
Sat Mar 19, 2011
Grow up people. This is a sad event but it can't be blamed on unions or even the city. People get laid off. It is not a good thing but you don't go out and kill yourself leaving your wife and kids to fight the battle alone.
Knut, Berlin's beloved polar bear, dies in his compound
Sat Mar 19, 2011
Well there are people who use these forums to make unfeeling remarks just to see what happens. Most of us can feel for Knut as we do and still grieve for the dead in Japan and the Libyan people being attacked.
